Hello,

I run a +2 length clutch cable (HD brand) on my 2002 FLHTC with Khrom Werks +2 sweeper bars. I also use a White Bro's EZ Boy. Thinking of switching the clutch cable out as part of preventive maint as it has some miles on it. My cable has a threaded lug length of 3/4 inch (part that threads into the trans cover through the EZ Boy spacer). I am told the new cables (HD) thread length is a lot shorter and will not work with the spacer. Does anyone know who makes a clutch cable with the longer threaded end (3/4") or the actual length of a current HD version?

Thanks,
Klammer

Terry Cable in Hesperia can make any cable you need.

Barnet's in Ventura also. It's nice to be able to walk into the place and deal with the guy who's gonna make it for you, but most of their stuff gets ordered. They have a nice coated cable that's supost to reduce clutch pull also.
