early 1984 sportster ironhead

is upper end noise normal for ironhead I know older cars with solid lift cams made upper noise to seems to be getting plenty of oil up there
am a brand new member hope im doing this right

I would say there are some top end sounds that would be considered normal.If performance is good you might check the pushrod adjustment (cold) just for peace of mind.Salty
