So have a 45mm mikuni on my bike now. Idle seems a tad rich at about 12.5-1. Not sure on cruising as of yet as i didnt have enough road. But wot was like 15 to 17-1 and would spike real lean when just pegged. Main is a 160. Any one hazard a guesd as to how many sizes larger i need to go? I am thinking maybe 165 or 170. Unless they come in smaller increments. Id really like to be in that 13 range at wot. Another question. The idle mixture screw if turned in or out should richen or lean out the a/f at idle am i correct? And also control richeness off idle to about 1/8 throttle if iam reading that right. From 1/8 to 3/4 is needle and 3/4 to full open is main jet. At what point do you change the needle? I know that running a carb wont be spot on like fi but will crusing down the road at 15-1 be a bad thing? In turbo cars and such we always went for as close to stoich as possible until in boost. And decel was always aloud to run very lean.  Just a guy learning to tune here. Is all

To add motor is a 103 with 11.3 static and around 10-1 running with a s&s 585. 103+heads and pistons vh pro pipe hs. No baffle packing.

The mains come in 2.5 increments I would get a 165 and 167.5 if it were me. The screw is an adjustable air bleed not a mixture screw like in the CV so in is richer and out is leaner.

You should be close on the main jets.  I'm running an HSR42 on a 97" Evo, cam, head work and have a 175 main.  It puts me around 12.4 AFR WOT.

Running the 167.5 a/f is damn near perfect at cruise and richens up on top to about 12-1
