You're taking off XB heads and replacing them with Thunderstorms? Are the XB heads damaged, is that the reason? Or are they serviceable.

Thunderstorms have been discontinued and we can't get new castings anymore.

We do have a set of used Thunderstorm castings in stock right now. We pick up used castings when we can, and normally only sell them with an accompanying head porting service. But we might make you a trade deal if the XB heads are serviceable.

Tried to reply to your PM but your inbox is full.

Your ring pack is 1.5/1.5/4.0, our 1250 ring pack is 1.5/1.5/3.0, so no, we don't stock a ring pack for your pistons. Give Ed at Total Seal a call, he'll fix you up.

When I had a set of EVO heads ported by Branch and that happened between the 14 mm plug hole He just said "Don't worry they all do that" LOL. I took them off and sold them and replaced with STD heads.

strokerjlk

Kirby freshened them up for me .
Gonna use them again .

No it's not the the same .
These are racers that actually use the heads .

I've run a number of heads in our Bonneville motors that had those cracks and haven't had a failure, for whatever that's worth. We do time-sert the plug holes when we see the crack, though, which also appears to be done to the heads in the picture.

I have also raced many years,
scrambles/TT, flat track and when got old drag .

I have had a cracked head a time or two.
changed out or repaired...
I wish you luck
