QuoteThose new skinny neck rods as pictured are actually stronger believe it or not ... according to my contact at PDC anyway.
Thanks Aaron . That's kinda comforting .
Any rods cheaper than Carrillo you recommend ?

That 88's gonna be a beast. I got to ride a shop mule that pushed off 97hp/102tq & yowza.

Just outta curiosity, has anyone ever combined a S&S stroker flywheel with the Axtell kit? I know there's little to know room in a OEM frame, but an aftermarket rigid's a whole different ballgame. Have often thought a 4.25 or 4.625 'wheel with those Axtell slugs would be a hoot...

I think the 4.25 or 97 ci is doable
don't know about the 4,624 105.6 ci
would have to use a S&S case for either one.
I hope to have a little more than 97 hp  I had 99 hp 82 tq with the 76 ci off the spray .
not sure what it will do really

Cool.

That 97/102 Sporty was back in '97, so I imagine folks are getting more out of 'em nowadays. That bike was running heads done by one of the guys involved with JET early on, with N6 cams, Super G & Thunderheader.

Can't imagine sprayin' one of those monsters. Little beast would loft the front, rolling on the throttle in 4th. Builder said it was frightening trying to make a pass with the stock Sportster chassis.

Sounds like a brute
I don't plan on running n2o on this motor . At least for a while .
Before I got the progressive controller on the 1250 motor . The first time I brought the n2o in at full % in 1 st gear out of the hole , it hit the wheelie bar so hard it raised both tires off the ground .

IDK.
At this point I am not in a rush anymore .
If I don't get it ready O well  , I am having a blast with the bagger .
