I have a bandit sportsman clutch that uses the stock HD basket. The basket is cracked in five places. Anyone know of a replacement besides the oem? The bike is a 2012 RG. Don't really want to buy a whole new clutch. :banghead:

I have an Evo Industries basket, really heavy duty, but bring yer check book, they're not cheap. But you won't break it.

Post a pic  of the cracks.  I posted a while back to a similar problem that I'd see a good machinist and have him put a support ring on the basket but it'd depend on the position of the cracks.

I will second the Evo Industries, I just put one in my 02. I had to clearance a couple of webs in the primary to make it fit..

Anyone using the AIM CF2 clutch? I know I said I didn't want to buy a new clutch but after looking at the price of EVO and AIM clutch baskets maybe I should just do it right and not look back. I have been kicking around doing a turbo over the winter. Jim said last time I was there that the bandit was slipping on his drum in its current configuration (124ci). So I know it wont hold a turbo.

Talk to the people at Bandit about their blue springs.

Recently I changed out my stock basket for a Evo. Industries unit. I kept the Bandit  and am now playing with a combination of greys and blues. I started with 5 shims on the greys and it showed some slip on the dyno but I never felt it. I measured the clutch pack to find I was half way through the tolerance specs. of wear. I will see how they hold up the rest of this year and see where they are at the end of this riding season. New clutch stack on the shelf when its time for them to be installed.
