fxr mid controls, whats wrong here?

Trying to install mid controls on my 92 fxrp. Clutch cable is in the way. Do I have the wrong trans side cover?  I will try and get picture

Yep, looks like the wrong side cover. Now what?

There isn't any other side cover to choose for -92 FXR(P). Are you sure your framebracket and brake pedal are for -92 FXR? It looks like the framebracket is positioned too far inwards.

Brake pedal lines up with master cylinder but interferes with clutch cable. Bracket  can only go on one way. Same bracket as for floorboards. Is there a different brake pedal?

The trans cover for the FXR is different in that the cable comes in at a lower angle. You have the wrong end cover.

Looks like a trans cover for a dyna maybe. Everything else fits including pipes

 I just looked at my '92 FXD Dyna cover and it's exactly like yours. I found a FXR listing on Ebay and the cover is different as mentioned in an above post.

I had the same thing on my 1990 Had to change end covers

Yeah, its starting to come back to me. I had a 92 fxr low rider back in early 90's. Cable came in lower. Dyna's were like what I have now. Looks like  FL's also.
If i buy a new cover will everything inside cover fit?
