Just here for the women.

I hear the new motor mount is lower and necessary to fit the motor into the frame.  Is there going to be enough clearance to remove the rocker box covers without pulling the engine out?  -Tutt

I was riding with a friend who had an S&S 124" with leineweber cams and I could feel it running beside me like sledgehammers hittin the ground.. The 144" is sure to set off alarms blocks away.

What size are those intake ports?   :dgust:  It looks (by the photo) you could use tennis balls to block them off. Maybe it's just the pic.

VERY Nice!! Anyone have any idea on why S & S put ,635 cams in there beast. You compression people will want at the least 1 more full point on top of the 10.47:1 it has Now. Once you get the monster tuned TRY those cams. Hell what can it take to replace the set,Up the compression, and install -2s. ITS A NEW HEART TO PLAY WITH!!!!!

this 1st batch of the three 144 crate engines only came in two color options John.
Granite for the CVO crowd...and Black highlighted...for the stealth stock look   :dgust:
As far as the 635HO cams go...S&S tested this engine with the 640's and 675's...and liked what they seen with the 635HO's. Remember...this crate engine uses the S&S gear drive oil pump system...so cam choice will be limited unless you change the cam plate and oil pump.
I know a lot of people potty mouthed the 635's on the forum here...but S&S says they make the best power through out the entire rpm range.
I think this engine will go north of 170 hp straight out of the box.
