My 2005 Dyna had the silver leak. Only cured when I had the primary off. I undid the 4 big engine transmission bolts, jacked in the centre to enlarge the gap. Cleaned in the gap with scotchbrite and degreaser before squirting some silicone in.
I gently did everything up and left it for a day or two. No more weeping (oil or tears)!
Waddyaknow now me 2010 96B has a black leak! Seems to come out of that pry slot seen on soft02's post. Best I could do was degrease the hole and push in an aluminium plug I knocked up covered in araldite. Still a bit of wicking around the engine/trans joint but at least the pool of oil on the casing has gone. Who the hell can afford to have the cases split? Unless you're getting the cases bored for some real cubes.....

Both my silver TC motors do that. Gives me incentive to keep them washed.
