I know the Main Shaft id left hand threads. I need the thread size and pitch. I was working on my sons firebolt and when the nut was removed we found messed up trreads. I used a fine file to clean some but would really like to buy a left hand die and run over it.

So does anyone know the Size and Pitch it is so I can order the correct die.

Thanks

Sorry can't help with the thread size, I'd try badweather.com lots of info there.

After looking around I took the new nut to Tractor Supply and compared to their stock. It appeared to be 5/8 18 pitch. So i ordered a 5/8 X18 left hand die. I cut the threads off a 5/8 bolt and threaded it with my new die.  The new bolt from HD fit perfect. I took the Die and ran ot over the burgered threads on the shaft and it worked. I now had useable threads.
