I think springer- put a big kabash on using Density Altitude, it can vary significantly from elevation and Pressure Altitude, so it could skew the results inappropriately.

Well guys, I did the compression check again today. First I checked out my battery and it checked out OK and I put my battery on my new Deltran charger/tender to make sure my battery was fully charged for the test. First I started the bike for a couple minutes, then I turned off the ACRs, opened up the tb fully, and connected everything up:

Front Cylinder averaged 193.5 psi
Rear Cylinder averaged  195.0 psi

Not exactly sure if it was the engine being more broken in, running the engine a couple minutes, battery charged up better or what but now my test results match the Big Boyz Calculator!

Thanks again for all the help/input, feel like I understand this whole process so much better now and I feel much better about how my build matches my plan. :teeth:

Check them again Cold and you'll be right back where you started. Do a CCP after a blast on the FWY and you'll be over 200.
50* ambient = X, 80* ambient = X+Y.  Put my C gauge away awhile ago after chasing that stupid rabbit around. Hey but its ok for checking balance between front and rear, as long as the battery holds up during the test, and you don't wash the walls of the second cyl while checking the 1st.
Maybe it's time for me get my gauge out again, think I see a rabbit.

I understand how the readings can change a lot better now but if I am following the guidance of the Big Boyz Calculator's designer and getting the proper results.... Well I am cooking that rabbit!

One thing I would like to emphasize on my recheck is that the battery did seem to crank much better after charging and I just left it connected during the test to help sustain it.

A fully charged battery is a MUST when doing a compression check. Doesn't hurt to have a charger or a jump pack hooked up as well.

I agree the battery must be topped off.
