The NHRA is stepping up the Harley races.  They will be running Top Fuel Harley at four of the Mello Yello events.

Top Fuel Harley, Pro Fuel Harley, Pro Gas, Draggin' Bagger, Street Pro, Hot Street and Screamin' Eagle Performance will all take to the track at events in 2015.

Yup ! I have been going to the Drag races for over 48 years Was about to take a few years off ( NHRA has been watering down the sport IMHO) But when I saw that they were going to be in Pomona in Feb I thought that maybe I should wait a bit !? They need to make T/F Harley a Pro catagory ! They need to have them at all 24 national events !!!!!!!! Good on the NHRA (for a change)

whats up with draging baggers?

just a oddity?

I thinking if want to race, well, build a race bike.
maybe strip 4-500 pounds of bagger garbage off bike?

I must have missed something (was there a memo?)
dragging a bagger is like having sex for the cause of virginity

The wife and I go to both Pomona races each year and have a great time.  Got my tickets for the finals this Sunday 11/16.  Great thing about Pomona is that you can take your own cooler full of beer as long as it is under a certain size.  Beats the hell out of paying $11.00 for a beer. My office is about 150 yards from the race track and when the nitros go off during qualifying runs during the week paper will vibrate on your desk, it's awesome.  I met Willie Davidson there last year. 
Horsepower is measured in terms of cubic dollars.

gawwdd,, I wish they were coming to Brainerd.. 2 years ago the dropped pro stock bike at this race,, those TF Harleys are friggin crazy!!
