Battery cable lugs?

Does anybody have a source or brand of lugs that work well for making up cables? I tried the local electrical wholesale, but did not find anything from T&B or Panduit that I liked.
  I have access to crimping tools so that will not be an issue.

Check with a welding supply shop or big rig tractor/ trailer supplier.

Jewelers torch and stay bright solder does a real nice job also, with skill.

Most any good auto parts store will have heavy lugs and cables. NAPA for one. Skip the chains like Auto Zone and O'Reily, they probably will not have the lugs and cables in bulk. We have an auto parts store in town that will build anything you want for cables, or sell you the pieces to build your own.

Napa sells all copper large cable terminal lugs.

I buy them all the time from them.

I recently upgraded my stock 4 gage battery cables to 2 ga. 1600 strand copper welding cable and used 2 gage with 5/16" or 1/4 inch mounting hole copper lugs purchased from Napa.

Amazon sells them also as do many sources.......just look for the correct gage and hole size for your application
