Can a V&H Pro pipe part 17571 be fitted to a 2012 Street Glide? It is recommended for a softail but i am unable to determine what the differences are.

No. Bends and mounts are all different between a ST and a bagger...

The pipe for the soft tail will be shorter and will stop under your bags. and the mounting brackets are different

I have a Propipe that I removed from my '09 Ultra after only about 5000 miles. I didn't care for the sound, so I changed to something else. It's in great shape. The only issue I can think of why it would be different from your '12 is that I have the larger O2 sensors that are located about 6" from the heads on the headers while yours has the smaller sensors. So you'd need to have mine drilled and the smaller bungs welded in. Otherwise it would work fine. Let me know if you're interested...I've not thought about a price, but I'm sure we could work something out.

Is it black or chrome?

Any Pic's
2 Bikes and 2 Beemers, that's what I have been told 😳

Bigbluff

It is chrome.

Presently it's wrapped up in a blanket in my garage. I need to clean it up...still has road grime on it. I will clean it up and post a pic soon.

Big bluff,  do you have a part number?  I have a 2012 roadglide.

The mfg on is 17539.

On your '12 RG the only issue would be the O2 sensors. You would have to Have bungs welded in for the new, smaller O2 sensors and also plug the bungs that fit my older sensors. Unless you are using a tuner with wide band O2 sensors, like a Thundermax. Then this exhaust would be plug and play.
