could you be more specific what wiring you're talking about. If you're talking about doing a plug-and-play system which would make it a lot easier biketronics has a plug-and-play adapterthat will hook your head unit into the existing Harley harness. I am sure Nutz will chime in in a bit but he does have a lot going on.

Badgerbob

Tdgriff it looks like he already has the hawg wired hand control plug and play. In his list.

Gannicus

And if I remember correctly the hawg wired harness is color coded with very simple instructions. Very easy to install.

Yes Gannicus I am trying to make it idiot proof or in my case ALhole proof.
As you can see I have everything, except then RCA patch cords that you recommended I use in another thread,
but all is good now my RCA wire connectors will be in on Monday, now all I need is my bike.

Quick question Card - Have you test fitted the 5.25 infinity speakers in the rear pods yet?

No not yet but I think I might have to put in a 1/2" spacer ring at most which is fine i will just make one up.
I will let you know when I get my bike back from my mechanic, he's putting in cams and lifters and pushrods
it's to cold here in Illinois to work in my garage for to long.

I think what Gan is getting at is they may wind up being too small for the existing hole that's there.  Those speakers holes back there (although HD calls it a 5.25" speaker) are really holes for a 6.5" speaker.

They need to be changed for the same reasons

ALUCARD19

Well I did try the 61/2" 62.11i but they were to big so that is why I ordered the 51/4" 52.11i i guess i will find out when I try to mount them.

hmm.. Monday bike maybe?

I've never had an issue literally dropping the infinity 62.11i in the rear pods of an 03 through 13 model bike.  The screw holes aren't going to line up but that's because HD uses an oddball offset screw pattern on their speakers.  You have to drill 4 new holes.

All will be good since I just looked and it seems that the 62.11i speakers come with an adapter ring that has holes that will line up with the 52.11i speakers

Yeah when I tried the 62.11i they were to deep and bottomed on the back of the pod and sat up almost 1/2" above the top surface of the rear pods.
