82 superglide

hey y'all. the auto dealer that i work for just took in on trade a 1982 superglide with 7900 original miles. bike is clean, sounds awesome. any ideas on what it might be worth? by the way the new sight here is cool.

I see them anywhere from $4,500 to $10,000. The ones in the upper price range aren't selling. The ones in the lower price range need work.

Sounds as if it has done a lot of sitting.  Be prepared for plenty of dried out gaskets and seals. I owned a 80' Super Glide and 83' Low Rider and remember a lot of backfiring when leaving stoplights.  I sure enjoyed them though.

If you want a real PROJECT, buy the shovel.  I've owned one for 23 years.  I've put more money and sweat into that old dog than you can imagine, but I love it.  Just changed the air cleaner on it this morning.  I also own a 103" '07 Street Glide.  If I had to give up one bike, it wouldn't be the shovel......way cool.
