When you ripped your cd's what did you use? WHat media player?

Was it windows media?

What settings did you choose in the rip settings page?

All this could contribute to this issue.

If windows media then open it up, go to the TOOLS at the top and select OPTIONS. Then select the rip tab.

Report back with what you see as choices that are selected

This would be the location and selections. Note the ADIO QUALITY at the bottom. You should set it for 320 KB and just above that select MP3. If you select WMA you cannot get the 320kb quality.

Hope this helps........

Put the stick in a PC and play. See if you still have the problem. I doubt it is the memory. Either the ripping of the songs or the HU I'd guess.
OK I put in the PC and sounds better . My truck is a 2010 ford f150 it sounds like crap in that truck. It sounds better on the bike. Would a hu really be the problem? I just figured if it had a USB port built in it would be fine. My buddy's bike it sounds worse. I just don't get technology.

Me neither.

Could be because we work in an industry that has basically used the same "technology" for over a 100 years.    :oil:
You are not kidding. I don't think anything has changed since I started working on track . well maybe the tools that's really about it.
