I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

X motors? Evo's?
Never mind,i see there are only. 2 types of engines allowed.

Cool...so if I wanted to go with factory Vespa and have then do the body work and run an S & S motor, it would be team Vespa?? Confused here! Someone explain to me what a Victory motor and an S & S motor have in common....'sept being 4 stroke. :nix:

Victory Motorcycle is sponsoring a race team of Pro Stock Motorcycles with S&S V-Twin engines until they get their own engine program developed. Vespa or even John Deere could do the same thing. Viper Motorcycle Company did it before with Matt and Angie but apparently things didn't work out for them.

Don't the bikes have to be loosely based on a "production" bike?

If so, Vespa is in but John Deere will have to stick to tractor pulling.
A cold beer, a hot woman, and a fast Harley
What else could a man possibly need?

Big Cahuna

If you look at a V&H motorcycle just the right way, it kinda resembles a Harley. And a decal that says either Harley or Screaming Eagle, is the closest thing to a production Harley you will find.,,,

So they're going to run the same engine the Buell teams are running? I guess racing is racing.
Mclintock! swell party were the whiskey?

deathwish

Heck most people don't know that Buell has nothing to do with Harley and neither do the S&S engines. It's always been a shame that S&S had no real choice but to use the Buell bodywork and gets so little recognition for what they did. Has anyone ever covered that engine, why/who, uses that from a small company. Years ago Cycle World  did a splash on the V&H Harley powerplant. At least you can buy the S&S unit.

Looks like a chapter from the funny cars.  Toyota, GM, Chrysler, etc. all with aftermarket motors.  :nix:
At least Ford/ Tasca/ Force/ Wilkerson, used Ford motors.

when it comes to being champ, Force is God...no other "sport" figure comes close, that said, I don't consider Drag Racing, Nascar, Golf, skiing, etc as sport, its recreation. Was a time you heard 'sports and recreation', now everything is sports and participants sports stars...yea right... :pop:

He does state they will sell the motors but you will have to have Matt do the work on them.
