Does any one have saddle bags for a Deuce? I found saddle bags mounting bracket on a Harley dealership site, but no saddle bags :banghead:

Expandable nylon?  For my money they make some great bags out there that are not leather, these bags will expand as needed, sit tight to the bike, and offer water proof covers.

The above is just one example, there are many out there.

I know the Harley catalog has several saddlebags listed for Softails. Have you looked there? I don't know if any fit on a Deuce though. I thought they had a SE Duece a few years ago  with bags so there should be some  available.

check out Boss bags, you don't need brackets with them and they look fantastic and have built in support for the lids.

Go to The Leatherworks website - excellent bags and a slick detachable mounting system from Great Bike Gear/East Brackets. Have used their saddlebags for over 15 years.

I had the ghost brackets on my Deuce. They worked pretty well and the brackets under the fender struts were barely noticeable. The metal saddle bag bracket could be attached to many different bags. I only used them on trips because I thought they were fugly on a Deuce!  Graduated to a Road Glide now but my 02 Deuce will always be my favorite out of the 7 Harleys  I have owned. Unfortunately the guy who bought it rode it off the side of a mountain and totaled it.

Buddy of mine has the HD hard bags on his and IMO they look nasty.  Very small storage capacity and the bags look ridiculous.  I would never tell him that cuz he likes them but .

IMO that bike is not meant to have bags.  It's a sporty style with a slight rake.  Looks nicer as is.
If you have to stop and think about if it is right or wrong, Assume it is wrong.
