left ignition on overnite

Should be checking all his grounds on the bike. Key left on,  some wiring would get hot.
Could create oxidizing and corrosion at the ground connections.
Double check battery connections. Loose wire someplace.
Bike is running but has a miss or stumble. Sounds like a bad wire. Possibly at the coil.
