Me too...birth control glasses!

I just realized you have to be registered to get the prices...the ones with the Ipod are $175...But the otherANZI approved glasses ,great for riding are $60...Another $100 if you need prescription..Almost any Federal, state or local ID will do [volenteer fireman?]..I think there a real good deal..They are not sold to the general public and are not available in stores.

Yes they were commonly referred to as BCD I and BCD II.... Birth Control Device.  Man I hated those Brown ones, I actually liked the Buddy Holly (black) ones.  I used to take the ones out of my M17 protective mask, hook a blousing rubber on them and use them on field exercises.

Started wearing contact and later PRK eye surgery, and Maui Jim (Sting Ray) sun glasses.  1sg would always ask me if I was     :hyst:

I have ridden with a group of soldiers from Fort Hood.  One of the guys wore his issue glasses that looked similar to those.  Everyone made fun of him.  They have a safety officer, a civilian and retired CSM, who issues the safety glasses and ensures that all the required safety gear is used.  The rides are during duty hours one day each quarter.

Mike, you FDC guys were probably always on something, with or without the glasses.  lol  Us FO's always worried you guys would mis-plot our target grids and fire up the OP.  Happened a few times at Graf.  I was also there when they fired into the motor pool on main post at Graf--'84 I think it was (A Co. 1/15 INF and HHB 2/39 FA, 3ID).  DOH!!  Or, do you guys blame that on the gun bunnies?  haha, good times--mostly!

Those glasses look cool for running.  Might have to try a pair, and ditch my portable MP3 player.

Dennis,
I too was there in Graf in 84 when someone shot the motorpool and the bowling Alley.  And Yes before "the Test" I might have been smoking a left hand rolled one........ Good times indeed Wished I had an FO that could shoot a polar mission..... I always blamed the DAGBI's or the Hill   :teeth:
