new cfr's

I've seen this term used a couple of times in the dyno section and its got me stumped.
I've had a couple of talks with cary and gaye,over the course of the last few months,and was told that there has been no baffle
changes on the cfr's since 07.i purchased a set 06/12 and was told at that time it was the latest design,trying to see if I am
being misled somewhere.i know I can get the real deal from here,so what gives////NEW CFR MUFFLERS

I have a set of the new baffle design CFR mufflers here. I do not have a old set but I have looked at many but its been a long time. But what I see is the newer mufflers have a short louvered insert in the inside the baffle at the connection from pipe to muffler. Now I can tell you that they really do not tune any better or make any more power. But its all about the complete sum of parts.  They are loud and many many love the sound and the look. Performance wise way too many other options out there to mess with the CFR in my opinion.
