My last ride of the year resulted in a flat front tire.  I had to ride about 3 blocks on it to get off the road and into a parking lot.  Got a tow back to the shop and replaced the tire with a new one.  Turns out it wouldn't hold air.  It had a couple of small leaks at the bead which just wouldn't seal.  So I sent it back to BlackStone to have a new wheel built around the hub.  It's holding air ok now.  Oh yeah, it only took about 18 weeks of down time to get it back from South Africa.

Thanks guys. I have an 03 fat boy with a wide tire kit that was installed when I bought the bike. I believe it is from performance machine.  It utilizes the factory solid wheel widened out to handle a 200 series tire and the result is one heavy assed wheel and tire assembly.  Looking to possibly hit the strip and trying to shed weight.
