The owner says it runs, has a 1967 motor that replaced the original motor. I gues HD made flatheads till 73? I don't know enough about Harley's this old to know if this is worth buying, or run away. Thoughts?[attach=0]

What about the title? Title numbers will match the original motor.

I'd be worth it to me for the right price.
Every day, I'm one day closer...  WTF!  I'm not near 70 yrs. old!

the bike pictured is a 45" solo.  the "G" motors for that model were also used on the trikes that were discontinued in the early 70's.
Great bike to ride as they are a lot of fun. not much for top end speed but a lot of fun on the back roads.

When I road servi cars for Toronto Police in the 70's the last new one we received was in 75. Down hilll with a tail wind you could get maybe 45mph.

The stock military motor as a solo will do 85 in original trim, all it needs is a big sprocket.
