96 1200 friends bike got him pulling and cleaning it. Where's cheapest place to replace it if needed.

If it was mine, I'd buy it from a Harley dealer just to make sure I got the right one.

They can be the cheapest sometimes, he hasn't had a chance to pull it yet. Maybe it will work if cleaned speedo Is just a little erratic from what he says.

but it's a '96 so it's a bastid year for a few items, that Speed Sensor is one of them

Haven't ordered anything for quite a while. Got on jp and kirk sites, the computer techs have made them a pain in the ass. Just my opinion

Have you tried ebay? I have found a few discontinued parts there new.
