Been having an intermittent problem with my ignition switch lately. The bikes a 2010 Ultra and when I turn on the ignition sometimes it won't fire up for me. Everything come to life but when I hit the start button nothing happens. Turn it off then back on and kinda wiggle it a little starts right up. It's like it has to be in just the right spot to work. Doesn't happen all the time but I don't want to get stranded somewhere if the wiggling doesn't work.

Any ideas or do I have a bad or going out ignition switch?

Change the battery in your key fob..

Perhaps the wire from the handlebar on/off switch to the keyswitch is going south from flexing.  I've had that problem twice on an FX.  Next time it acts up, hold the handlebar steady, reach down and wiggle the wiring loom going to the keyswitch/dash.

Take the switch appart and clean it up once you've narrowed it down to the switch. A pair of outside snap ring pliers and a screwdriver.

I didn't even think about the key fob battery. I'll do that one first and hopefully it does the job. I like easy.
