Along with the attributes of hard work and determination a person must have the ability to ride, and that my friend comes natural to you.
Congratulations on a great season, we wish you much success in the future

 nice work Jim!
I'm sure next season will bring you even better results.
Keep up all the hard work...it's definitely paying off.

Thanks guys .
I ran a little better MPH this last race at Bowling Green . I lost my shift kill and had to foot shift without it . I learned a lot about my new setup , it ran a personal best off the trailer for the one pass  I had the shift kill.
But it wasn't good enough to beat .Paul Vicory's amazing day .
Paul re set all the street dresser AMRA National records. His bike is flying .

This past weekend was the last race of the 2015 AMRA season .
Finished 2 nd in points for dresser class this season .
We ran a personal best of 10.079 and saw a 112 mph 1/8 mile MPH .
I was hoping to run a 9 sec pass before the season was over . We didn't make that. But all in all I am very happy because I know the 10.0 run had a couple things happen to slow it down a little. Gonna make one more race before the end of the year , but it will be a 1/8 mile track .hope to see a couple more 6.4's
Looking forward to next year . The 1/4 mile ET record is now 9.94 set by Paul Vicory .

thanks again guys for the support .
Betty was able to knock down one more record before the season ended.
this one is for running the number on a 11:50 index....ran a 11:509. its worth 50 extra points.
I love the SE 11:50 class, some of the best sportsman riders on the planet. it isn't uncommon to have alternates because of the bike count for this class.
couple times this year I wasn't sure if I was gonna qualify .

I'm new around here, and am just reading this section of the forums. Do I understand you're from Mattoon? If you're racing local, please post up. Myself and some buds need a ride excuse and this stuff would make for a good day out...

Thanks and congratulations!

I'm in Morton, guys I ride with are local - Bloomington/Normal, etc.

I see what you mean about the front up. Makes for great theater but costs time. I'll keep my eyes open around here, and hope to catch some of you guys next season. I've always thought these old twins were better suited to tractor pulls, but may have to change my way of thinking.

Really appreciate you folks that dedicate yourselves to the performance arena; lessons learned always trickle down to us road riders - without the research expense!

on that run, it kinda was for theater. my son and his buddies wanted a good wheelie pic. so i launched harder than I normally do. still had a 1.60's 60 ft though.
the good thing was i had some decent launches there ,with a softer clutch that day.
I usually smoke the tire there ,so i was pretty happy with the setup.

Thanks Johnny . Poor boys got poor ways . It really isn't what I would like to be running , but it's not to bad of a setup . Was hoping to see ya in B/G . Hope all is coming together and you're ready for the next one .

In have been to a couple TnT,  had problems with clutch slipping.  I got that lined out, then dealing with wheelies.  I dropped the bike a couple inches last week and finally made a couple decent passes before the track got oiled down.  I re-geared the tranny this winter and it completely changed how the bike leaves, finally got my 60 in the 1.70's last week without the big wheelie, now I can try leaving a little harder. Vicory looks like he makes a smooth pass, that's a winner
