SWEET! What are your plans?

-craig

My plans are to gather up parts and put together a chop using no parts from countries that we dropped atomic bombs on or predominately eat rice.

It will have jockey shift/suicide clutch. I have a correct 1940's  trans lined up, as well as a complete 1960's era mid glide front with 21" wheel and drum. I'd like to do a King/Queen seat and tall ass sissybar as well but I'm back and forth on a few things so we'll see.

I scored this shifter at a swap meet so now I only need 298 more parts  :hyst:

Are you going to use the pictured frame?  Any modifications to that frame?

I am going to use the frame. It's missing the usual sidecar loops and tool box bracket, but the neck is untouched and the axle plates are mint. Just gonna clean it up and coat it.

Here are a couple examples of chops I like. I dig fat tires, skinny tires, solid rear wheels, spokes, big sissy bars, springer fronts...hahaha gonna be tough to decide but I'll have fun all winter here working on it. Lotsa Pan-porn :SM:

Hey BBQBIKER;  Your pics of the engine make it look like the front head has 7 fins and the rear only 6. Is it camera angle, or are they different heads?  I checked my generator shovel, and both are 7 fins.
I'm starting to believe my body is gonna outlast my mind.

I see 7 on both in the first pic.

Hmmm I'll take a look when I get home. I know the heads are stamped 48R and 48F

Will advise.......

I see it now. You were able to see the pic with eng. & frame clear enough to count fins. I was looking at the eng. only pic which is just a bit different angle.
