Sneezing when idling

2004 Sportster XL883 is sneezing out of the carb when it is idling. If the choke is pulled out 1/4", is stops doing it. It seems that it might be running to lean at idle. It excellorates  as it should and runs -out well.  Thank you, regjo1948

Yes, by pulling out the choke you have enriched the mixture.
Try one size up on the pilot jet.
If you're running a 30 try a 35 and so on.

Also check your intake seals by the heads for intake leak

I changed the pilot jet from a 42 to a 48 and it stopped the sneezing and doesn't black smoke from too rich mix. Thanks, gregjo1948
