jrgreene, Which Braille battery did you get ?

I put the Braille b2015 in . It was expensive but spins bike over like the plugs are out

Just picked up a YUASA locally..  what a difference it made.  My oem harley battery lasted 3 yrs 2.5 months and that's hooking it up after every ride to the tender.  It wasn't fully dead yet but was leaving work and sounded like it might not turn over so figured I'd better get a new one.

The MoCo used Yuasa Batteries before they switched over to Deka, the 65989-97 was a Yuasa and the 65989-97A a Deka.

I'll look for the change year, I have it somewhere.

The change took place in the 2000 models.
