2006 which shocks are better hd air assist shocks or progressive 944 for flhx

Just Nick

Of the two you posted the progressive but you might want to look at works shocks
I'm never wrong , once I thought I was wrong , but I was wrong

Go with the 13" 944 as it will retain the stance of your stock 12".
If the lowered stance of the Streetglide is not important, go with a Progressive 444 13"
As Nick stated, Works is good stuff also
Need a bigger garage

I got a set of Bitubo's from Traxxion Dynamics near Canton, GA. They put specific springs on for your weight and riding habits. I had them do the front and rear. Quality products on the front, American made right there in the shop. The rears are imported but great quality. cherryseeg on here can vouch for the ride quality. Anything is probably better than the stock ones.

HD air shocks are good for about 6 months IMO....I'm very happy with my Progressive 944's....
