Hi, always good to get advice from like minded folk and I think I will need it! I have a 1977 Shovelhead which I recently imported from Tennessee, runs well, but needs a bit of sorting.

My first "new bike" was a 77 FXE.
Wish I never got rid of it.
The stories that bike could tell if it could talk.

I had a 1977 FXE in 1981, sold it in 1986 actually owned it twice, bought again in 1990, sold it 1995.
