Happy as in accurate. Every once in a while I pop the calibration plate on to see how it's doing. I think it's spot on. While I don't usually give out flow sheets I know that if my heads go on anybody else's bench the #'s are good. No ifs ands or buts.

I've got another set of 110 heads for you to massage. I'm in no real hurry but when would be a good time to ship them to you?

Since you're not in a hurry ship them whenever it's convenient for you.

Larry,

What's the diameter of the hole?   Is the plate sheet metal (0.060) or thicker?

wfolarry

The hole measures 2.045
It's 1/8" thick with a taper cut on the backside for a sharp edge orifice.

I couldn't be happier with the work Larry did for me!!!!

I made a copy of this plate but screwed up slightly and the hole end up at 2.050.. Using my calibration plate, the plate I made flowed 302.4 cfm when corrected to 28 inches  (really flowed 176.1 at 9.5 inches).. The hole area difference is only about 0.5 %..... If I correct for that I get 301 cfm.. I'd say that is a good plate to cal by.. About 0.3% difference..

I've got 3 plates of different size holes for calibrating.
If you want I could send them you you & you can check/compare.

Sounds like a good idea.. I'd like to test them fer sure.. I would like to hold off for a few weeks tho.. After being off grid for almost 19 years, I'm getting a connection to SDG&E.. Part of the project includes power to my shop.. Would like to do it then as power will more stable than what I can get with a generator..  :teeth:

Just let me know when & I'll send them your way.
