Being pretty new to evos what is a good clutch replacement suggestion for a slightly built evo street engine? I don't figure I'll need anything like a scorpion or terminator clutch set up. Kevlar, extra plate, heavier spring? I'm guessing I'll end up around the 80hp mark.

I run a Rivera Pro Clutch in my 96 Fatboy with a 113". Has worked flawlessly for years.

I'm running a Barnett extra plate and heavy duty spring on a mild 120"
Holds up better than the rear tire.

If it has tits or gears it will give you problems at some point!!

What year? If its pre '90 the hub cracking is the weak link, so a Zippers reinforcement ring & a extra wide plate kit will help, but not be perfect. Later stuff doesn't need much other than a spring below 100ft lbs., but a pro clutch gives a light lever.

It's a 96' ultra classic. I've got an easy pull throw out bearing kit on it now. The clutch on it is good right now so I'm just looking at what to replace it with when the time comes. I want to have something on hand when I do need to replace it.

For an 80-horse bike, the SE extra-plate clutch kit and pressure plate will suffice, and will bolt in with no clearance grinding required. No need for overkill. I ran one successfully in a 90+ horse bike, and have installed them for customers.

with 80 hp bike, i tried two different barnett extra plate clutch packs, both left me with hard to neutral issues when the motor was running.  the energy 1 kit came with a tighter flat spring which changed the feel at the hand lever in a good way.  it was also easier to find neutral when the bike was running.  I have two barnett kits and the stock kit with energy one two steels and a friction  sized to match the spring plate they replaced.  I will be selling the cheap if you are interested in either the barnett full friction ring kit or the segmented kit let me know.  kits have been on the 93 fatboy, but no real  miles on them.
