Also, i retested speakers if I unhook one speaker the issue goes away, but it doesn't matter which one.

Also if I put the gain to about 2.... It doesn't happen at all, the freq knob is set between 50-125 dead center. And toggle switch set to hp

Funny but I have BT speakers in both my bikes. Exact same setup in both. But one bike has the BT amp, the other I have the big Sound Stream amp. They both sound great but there is just something a bit better about the bike with the BT amp.

I'll never do another bike without all BT stuff.  And I will forever blame Nutz for it.

I'm excited, and you won't hear me complain about my Rockford fosgate kit either as it sounded pretty good to me. Atleast way better then stock so we will see.


Now my only question is how limited am I going to be with the stock head unit? I can't swing the cash to replace it yet but maybe in the future.

Just remember when you replace the stocker you'll also need to add the handlebar control module, installation kit, and rain-shield into the equation as well.

Sound quality and feature wise - there's a lot more/better to be had from an aftermarket head unit but you must also keep in mind there are some drawbacks as well

additional expense aside from the head unit for installation kit, handlebar control module, rain-shield
not being able to see the display well, if at all
not waterproof like stockers are, albeit you can use a rain-shield for some protection from the elements

My BT 7.1 and 2180 are set to arrive tomorrow! I'm so pumped as my current setup just isn't working right still, it doesn't cut out but the sound quality/volume changes constantly depending.

Any last words of advice before install??

Stock headunit first..... Don't have and extra $400 for the head unit and install kit.

Just opened the box and it's like speaker porn!

Installed the amp and speakers and all I can say is night and day difference. No test ride yet, but just sitting there it's insane how much better they sound! There was no bass to it at all before. Now the bass hits hard and clear. Sounds amazing!

Maybe my issues cause this but my pbr300x2 and punch powerII 6.5s had no base at all.

I can't believe I didn't make the switch sooner.
