Just had a re-tune (TTS) and the bike has never run better except for a very annoying de-cel pop.  It happens between 2200 and 3200 rpm, give or take, when you go from about 5% throttle to closed throttle like when entering a tight twistie.  It also occurs when up up-shifting when you back off the throttle right as you up shift.  I take it this is not going to get better on its own.  How do I fix this?  One other thing - the bike has never done this before.

I use a thundermax for this, best there is. A open exhaust make it worse also.

Sorry for my english ;)

Talk to your tuner he will fix it for you sometimes it can be a little of a pain and some bikes you won't get any decel pop on the dyno. It happens I'm sure he will fix it for you
I'm never wrong , once I thought I was wrong , but I was wrong

I took a close look at the exhaust and on the rear cylinder the two nuts were missing.  That explains the sound I heard on my test ride as I must have detected one of the nuts bouncing off the bike as it fell off.  Assuming the exhaust was loose when the dyno tuning was performed - does this invalid the results and do I have to pay again to have it repeated?  Or, can I install two new nuts (and hopefully that cures the de-cel pop) and move on?

Personally;
I'd try the REPLACE Nuts and test ride... (buy exhaust nuts at HD)seen to many nuts replace NUTS with the wrong threads n design to hold...

THEN Talk to the Tuner and see what they say....

I would go to a good tuner, this one didnt see your header was loose

Gday jeff,
Do you have tts, the map that was installed, and are you ok to make a couple of adjustments?
If so, a slight increase or decrease in the ,... (Umm... Dang ... I don't have my pc on and will probably screw up the table name.....I think it's called) decel enrich (or something like that) table, around those revs will probably fix it.

exhaust nuts loosen on dyno  usually check before going on and sure enough have had a few loose again when reinstalling heat shield etc so now always check nuts and bolts after dyno runs
Keep your feet on the pegs and your right hand cranked

Two new nuts installed on rear header and front nuts re-torqued and pop cured.  I made an appointment with the tuner to have the AFR's re-checked this week.
