BUBBIE

I had the early stock auto tensioner with the  small Bastard Mating Files in my 09 King. Some saying they Tightened UP to much...
Never had a problem with noise OR over tightening...
Noisy off the show room floor, a couple tapping on the rear break to lightly JOILT it Up proved the only time that chain made Loose Bouncing noise.

Primary off many times,  checked out Good tension...

Then @ Over 100,000 miles :hyst: I decided to put in a Baker DD7 speed....
The Bonus Buy, came with their BAKER DD7 was their Sold primary chain adjuster...  :SM:

The stock shoe was worn and Might Need a replacement in another 70,000 miles :hyst: (170,000)
So I installed the solid from Baker...

Primary OFF and ON 3 times to get that adjuster Just Right.... :banghead:  Noisy at first,  too tight then too Loose  :nix: but #3 adjustment GREAT... Slight werrrrrring noise  Wore IN and now is Quiet... Chain is Set Nicely...   that Fat Lady FINALLY sang...

Not needing auto -adjust or change the manual adjustment to my Baker,  makes me feel Good to not wonder IF too tight...

Sounds like a newer version of the HB-125, I've had one in my bike for 13 years (03 RK), I haven't had to make any adjustment to it since I installed it and there's not even a mark on the shoe.

Don't know if I would buy it again, but I had one in my 04 RK primary (95" UG head motor) for 12 years & it worked perfectly.
