Although I have been riding for over 25 years, my 1990 Electra Glide in my first Harley. (I also own a 1984 Yamaha Venture Royale & a 1980 Honda CB 750)

My Yamaha Cruiser although fast & fun is an interstate bike, tall in the seat. I have found that it get harder to lift off it's side stand the older I get, especially on long road trips with the wife.

So I found this FLH with 47K miles & a rebuilt motor & trans for $5,000. Took on ride on it & was surprised at how nimble & light it was. She felt more like my CB750 than a full blown bagger and with the winding roads here in eastern Tenn, it is a perfect fit.

Although it looks simple to maintain & work on, there are some differences from my Japanese bikes that surprised me (like having no fuse box, only inline fuses & circuit breakers behind the fairing)    :wtf:

Anyhow...Thanks for having me here, look forward to meeting you all!

Welcome aboard, a FLH with 47K miles & a rebuilt motor & trans for $5,000, sounds like a good deal, pix are always welcome.

I had a 1990 FLHTCU eventually putting a 1-1/2 Chair on it, all fun, the 90's do have a few peculiarity's though.
