bearing alternative

Hi guys
BT   p/n 37906-84 = 6207 ZZ which is steel shielded
XL   p/n 36799-91 = 6207 open unshielded

can both of these bearings be replaced with 6207- 2RS  double rubber shield ??

Can't see why not.... but would depend on application.

      Its looks like both of these are clutch hub bearing
  I have used the double seal when I can .

both are clutch hub bearings

the open BB lets "Potty mouth" grits in so wears out quickest ($) , the steel shield stops large "Potty mouth" grits only, while the rubber sealed BB is permanently lubed so gotta last the longest

same BB used on Indian 1928 - 53 , the deal these days is rubber sealed version so surely HD guys have made this move ??
