Looking to replace my front mount on my 2006 dyna . Ive been through 4 OEM mounts and the rubber keeps tearing . This is my track bike , it gets the front end in the air quite a bit , sometimes comes down hard  :embarrassed: . What aftermarket mount are you guys having luck with ?

I have a cobra technics but that wouldn't be the best for wheelies.  Maybe the big bear choppers mount or the version ngin posted is cheaper from eBay

Spell check got Jason...he has a Vibra-technics HDD100M.

So you don't spend time looking for something that doesn't exist.

And he will tell you they are good for vibration but not made for stunting etc.

As the mount is likely tearing on rebound of the rubber, I'd suggest trying to make a limiter that prevents the rubber from fully extending (by just a tiny bit). fwiw Buffalo

I think the limiter need to limit separation (rebound as you say) and side sheer.  Maybe a 90° angle to do both.  Use a tattle-tail to figure out how far to limit each direction.

Good suggestions guys ! I appreciate all the feed back . I was at the track today , didnt have to worry about wheelies as the track was SLICK ! I will check out the vibra technics and Rick great idea using a tattle tell to figure out where to mount some limiters . Thanks again guys

He might be talked ng about Chopper Hauss. He builds the mounts for BBC

joe_lyons

For $100 less than big Bear choppers.  We ordered one from them and dealer cost is only 10% off.

Can't order those anymore, they're off Ebay.

Would still like to see the Glidepro. How do they sell something if they don't advertise its existence?

BigBearChoppers front mount, problem solved
I'm not here cause of a path before me, Im here cause of the burnout left behind

DoubleZ

Chopper haus has an Instagram account and still advertising they make them.  Looks like you just contact them to order until there website gets finished.

This might help, can't remember where I got it or who makes it but I don't have issues with my front motor mount and I ride hard
