Some states if it passes inspection will issue a clean title, or a few years ago did. Okla didn't but Kansas
or mo. did I don't remember. Some I seen didn't look wreaked,

MN is one of these states, that is why we run the VIN# of every bike we are looking at for trade in,, trading a "clean title salvage" can really bite you in the AZZ later,, don't ask me how I know!!

If you guys want some real sticker shock, go on Ebay and dial up salvage bikes. Especially Harley's. Their prices are the same as bikes with clean titles. About the same as the clean title prices being asked on CL. No deals to be found in either of those places. I know most states want receipts for any and all parts used to repair a bike with a salvage title. So if you buy one and it's been repaired, it better come with a stack of proper receipts otherwise you just paid alot for a parts bike.,,,
Like Coyote said , would not buy wrecked , salvage Whatever from ebay , bike has already been bought as a wreck once !! . hell ive had 5 Wrecked bikes , 3 of them had CLEAN titles that had never been thru the DMV . here , if you tell insurance company from the start that you want to keep your bike ( or buy back its called), the title never leaves your hand . And as far as knowing if a frame is bent , hell LOOK at it like the Insurance guy will!!
