last 10-15 years I been going to the ride to tortilla flats on new years.
some years cold, others in t-shirts.
this year cold and wet.
it used to be kinda a vintage event. but with the twisty road up canyon lots of sport bikes now show up. it fun. lots of bikes, restraunt, tourist trap stuff in ghost town.

wanted to take the ironhead, but buell is handy so will fire it up.
and NO SNOW to shovel...lol

Google tortilla flat az and get clips of the place, pix and some go pro camera stuff of the ride.
its pretty twisty for 20 miles up the hill and down the canyon past lake.
my pix wont post.  not on photobuckett

they have some strange open/closed dates  at the tort flat camp ground.
saguaro lake is always open.

this year "we" did not make it to top. my buddy visiting from cal had his big barge bike .
I taking it easy so as not to push his limits.  we turned around at the first bridge.
