I Finally got around to replace my 2003 stock radio to a newer
2013 Harmon Kardon. Can anyone send me a link or operating instructions
for this radio including the XM radio modulator?  Below is a link I started on this.
Bike is a 2003 Electra Glide.

Thanks in advance,
Crazy Joe.

That will work.    I also not some info on the XM radio.
I have a module on it.   I haven't seen any instructions
on how to switch over to it.

Press the mode button. It ain't brain surgery.

That's what I've been doing    guess I"ll need to power
power up XM module  (still need to run positive and neg
wires to the XM) Was hoping there would be a manual on
the XM side so I can have all info that I might miss without it.

I still need to register XM module I am assuming that info
(serial number) will pop up when powered up

Thanks again : )

Joe is this xm trouble guide any help?
I'm starting to believe my body is gonna outlast my mind.

I need to get power to the module   I thought the radio would
have a XM icon but I guess it has to be hooked up first. It will
have to be this weekend before I can work on it again. : )

Module needs power, ground, CAN+, and CAN- lines hooked up to become an option on the menu

Do you have the accessory harness to connect the XM module to the HK radio? Do you have an Ultra harness? You can make the harness yourself, but it sounds iffy that you'd be up for doing that. The CAN +/- are the two wires required to control the unit (channel up/dn, etc). They connect to the Ultra 35-pin connector on the back of the radio.

Yes I have a harness that has been modified    the schematic you sent will be
very helpful. The harness I have may already be wired up    now that I have picture
I should be able to see if it is. What is taking so long is my work schedule
and no room in the garage.   Thank you all for the help. Please keep suggestions
coming in.

pp6000v2   Do you have part numbers for these harnesses your talking about?
That way I can see what I have

I fabbed my harness from scratch, so I'm fuzzy on this part- I want to say the Ultra's harness required the additional use of the XM/CB Harness 70172-06.

Assuming Non-Ultra, you'll need the Non-Ultra Overlay Harness/Boom! Audio System Wiring Harness (70169-06A). That's the 35-pin connector for the back of the HK radio. It has the connector you need for the XM module.

Got it!!!!!!! the harness I got was already wired up : )
Thanks to everyone who explained how everything worked
I just didn't want to burn something up.
One more question   where's the best place to wire in the XM module
so it keeps its memory when I turn the bike off : )
