I presently don't need a clutch, but with 125,000 on the original, I'm thinking it's not a bad idea. Just a mild cam in a twin cam 88. Any benefit to the extra plate kit on a basically stock bike?

I can't speak for the Barnett offering but, the Energy One extra plate kit does away with the anti-judder spring, spring seat and narrow friction disc.  When you get rid of the judder spring the friction zone changes from a gradual engagement to more of an on-off engagement.  The light switch type of engagement can be harder to control when doing low speed, parking lot types of riding.  I went away from the extra plate to a stock count Energy One kit with the judder spring etc. for that reason.

Kent at Energy One is really good to deal with so I'd recommend talking to him.

I do more clutch jobs due to the POS "judder springs" falling apart, and its probably just a matter of time before it happens. Going to an extra plate set is a great option, and the engagement quality isn't that big different once you get use to it.

If the original Basket, hub, and bearings are good, then go back with OE or Alto Plates.

That would be EVO Clutches not TC Clutches.

I have used alto plates on my bdl belt drive before.  This time for my dyna I used alto carbonite add 1 plate kit.  It works quite well and still retains the jutter spring.   I have been impressed with it and I am running a 100/100 with the screamin eagle spring with no sign of slipping.  And it is not badly priced

That being said when I selected a clutch plate kit I did not want something that only wanted me to run atf specifically because of the Baker compensator.  I called alto and they told me to run any good synthetic I wanted.  So I have been running the amsoil primary fluid

I've got the barnett extra plate in my WG.

I like it, friction zone is pretty close to the stocker. I also added the SE heavy duty spring, but I think that will come out next time I open the cover. I don't think I need it.
