With your tappet blocks out it is EZ.
I find the Genuine HD way a little optimistic because -
There are so many vendors for gaskets anymore.
With out the genuine McCoy how do you know what the compression rate will be? (of the gskt )
They say allow   0.006
Even then, you are depending on someone's best guess.
If you measure through the lifter block hole with gasket intalled you get a real measurement.
I just went through this.
Different vendors gaskets yield a different measurement.

I did get the cover gasket from the dealership but Of course this would not be a simple remove & replace...God I REALLY hate this bike!

I used to work at w genuine HD shop.
The guy that owned would very often buy what ever stuff from where ever , and sell them as genuine HD parts.
Like I said-DONT count on the compression of the gasket being what the book said it will be.
The gasket could have been made out different material in a different world, like China, and not have the same Characteristics
