Title: Drifts left
Post by: Panzer on August 23, 2018, 04:54:53 AM
Bought the bike new and from day one, if I take my hands off the bars she wants to drift left.
If I don't catch it, I'll go down.  So of course I don't ride no handed.
Tire pressure good, fall away checked good, no saddle bags.
The only thing on the bike is a windshield.

What gives?   Suggestions?
TIA

The first thing to do would be to check wheel alignment.
Check your rear shocks to be sure they are adjusted evenly if they have adjustments on them.
Check your front forks for square, maybe loosen everything, bounce them a few times, retighten.
Double check the aligent of your rear tire, measuring fom the swingarm pivot point.

You may want to check them Panz (after Hoss's list). They were broken on the wife's '07 and the shaft was worn. Left side. It developed a hell of a wobble before I found it.

Rear wheel alignment good cause I just put on new rubber in the rear.
I'll check rear shocks....good point.
Broken bolts, doubt that since it did it from new, but will take a look.
Front end will be the last look see.
Thanks for the

Hoss, I did as you suggested (above) loosened everything, the headlight fell off, springs shot out of the fork tubes and I stand here with the handle bars in my hands.
