I noticed these new 2023 114 air-cooled touring engine components in the parts list at Harley SIP.
Are there any improvements here?
New cam plate: is 25400452 was 25400133 (inner cam bearing 9298B is also now used)
New exhaust valve is: 18000034A was 18000034
New Piston Jet Front: is 62700089A was 62700089
New Piston Jet Rear: is 62700117A was 62700117
New Balancer Assembly: is 35200150 was 35200057
New Transmission seal: 12074A was 12074
Also:
Main Frame: is 47000344 was 47000088BHP
Voltage Regulator: is 74700025B was 74700025
I know the cam plates now have a machined groove in the camshaft hole where the oil feed hole is, similar to aftermarket ones.
Does HD still produce a What's New technical video for the dealers every year. Is that video posted on HTT anywhere? Seems like they released it at the dealer meeting every year when it was in August.
My guess is that the balancer shaft and piston jets are now optimized for 114 and 117 engines as the 107 is only in the Softail Standard now.
The piston jets also have a new gasket. I read that there have been some leakage problems with the earlier design.

Often I have found the top of the threaded holes for the oil jets feel proud to the touch. I have seen this in Twin Cam cases too. It has become my standard procedure to lightly chamfer these holes.

I have a 2019 107" that I'm building to 117".... Would it be any advantage to replace my piston oil jets with the latest spec ones?

No but a tapped thread would be better then self taping screws.

The change may be intended for longer stroke engines with the 114 crank.
