What makes you think it will be in a bagger?

No, look, I still have a motorcycle magazine from the 1980s that says HD were about to make a V4, and when they didn't the design ended up as a V-Max...
And they did build a prototype V4 in the 1930s.
Google Harley Nova.
Geeeshh, the Milwaukee 8 has only been out a month, and you're starting a "next gen" thread? Lets spend a year or so dissecting and bashing on the 8. By time the next gen comes out, some of us will be saying "Harley who? what?".
I looked into my crystal ball and there it was a M-16 H2O cooled V-4 NOVA??

Was the Magna out before the Vmax? Sweet running V4.

I believe it was. Rode both the v45 and the v65 and both were nice running bikes. Borrowed each for a day. Still see the odd v65 running around, so they did stand the test of time and were reliable. The 65 was quite a perfromer for it's size.

I've got an '83 V45 Magna stuffed in the shed right now. A story for another time.
