Corrugated exhaust pipe

Hi, on the bikes in the late thirtys, the exhaust appears to be corrugated / flex pipe. Is it the actual exhaust pipe, or a flexible heat shield ?

Carlos, that would be a flexible heat shield.
Every day, I'm one day closer...  WTF!  I'm not near 70 yrs. old!

Thanks, where are they available ?, & are they available in 10 ft rolls ?

If you do a goggle search on "v-twin flex exhaust" you'll find V-Twin's 30-0110, the other sets that V-Twin sells are 30-0311 & 30-0459.  I don't remember which set I purchased years ago for my pan but I think the rear is a little too short.  Also try a search on "Harley flex exhaust".
