Title: TPS Value
Post by: Selstat on July 04, 2023, 11:34:33 PM
Hello everyone,
Please excuse my English.
I realized during the deceleration phases the TPS value varies between tps 3.6 and tps 3.2.
Moreover when I'm idling it drops to 2.7 and sometimes to 2.3 which has the effect of almost stalling the bike.
Is there a way with the DPV to be able to increase this value.
I own a frlrst 2022 with a cam se m8-462

THANKS

Your bike uses the throttle blade to control idle speed, which is why the TPS value varies- it's trying to control the idle RPM. If you increase the the idle RPM table, it will increase the TPS value, but that may not solve the stalling issue. It may need a little fuel/spark change.

Indeed by increasing the idle it increases TPS.
thank you very much.
I still learned a few things.
If I lower the CDE will that make the TPS go up even more?
what is the table for IAC STEP TARGET ?

No. The CDE tells the system how much fuel dilution is happening ( from reversion).
IAC step target table is not typically used, unless you're developing your own throttle body.
TPS fluctuates in an attempt to control idle speed. Why do you want to increase that value?

I find it low but as it's the first time for me I'm not used to it

Electronic throttle controls the idle speed by position- if it gets higher, the idle rpm will increase.

how can i do this ? If it's possible

Edit the bottom 2 rows to 1000, save & flash into ECM. This will bring the idle up when warm.

Since his location is France 🇫🇷 i think translation is not simple.

Remplace les valeurs sur la ligne de 80 et 96 degré Celsius pour 1000. Ton ralenti ne devrait pas être en bas de 1000.

C'est quoi le problème que vous voulez régler? Les valeurs du TPS vont changer presque continuellement!

as this is the first time I've done a map I wonder if the tps value is good at 3.2 in deceleration and if there is a way to increase this value because I realized that when starting the motorcycle this value is higher but I don't know if there is a table that I can modify for that

The TPS in deceleration is low, because the twist grip position is reduced, and the throttle position tries to follow the twist grip position. Twist grip position is the request, throttle position is the response.
Normal idle/decel TPS is <6% cold, <4% hot.

Far from being a specialist in tuning so RigidThumper can correct me if i'm wrong :-), but What your decel enrichment table look like? Usually from my log i can toggle the option to view the graphic in megalog viewer but not yours. When i close the throttle i can see some activities from decel enrichment on mine.
